Welcome to the Laboratory of
Structural & Supramolecular Chemistry
We
are
located in the
Institute of Physical Chemistry, NCSR “Demokritos”
,
Athens, Greece. The lab is specializing in research regarding
structure-property relationships of supramolecular systems involving
cyclodextrins, in synthesis of cyclodextrin derivatives for applications
in nanotechnology, biology and medicine and in structure of
macromolecules and their complexes. The laboratory is also committed to
education and training of graduate students and post doctoral fellows in
interdisciplinary research ranging from organic synthesis to structure
determination by X-ray crystallography and by NMR spectroscopy.
