Structural & Supramolecular Chemistry

We are located in the Institute of Physical Chemistry of NCSR
“Demokritos”, Athens, Greece. The lab is involved in the
structure-property relationships of supramolecular systems of
cyclodextrins, in synthesis of cyclodextrin derivatives for applications
in nanotechnology and medicine
(biology) and in structure of macromolecules and their
complexes. The laboratory is committed to education and training of
graduate students and post doctoral fellows in interdisciplinary
research ranging from organic synthesis to structure determination by
X-ray crystallography in the crystalline state and by
NMR spectroscopy in solution.
